Maximizing limited space with enhanced functionality for a distinctive blood donation center

Maximizing the Limited Space with Enhanced Functionality, Creating a Distinctive and Eye-Catching Blood Donation Center.
The architecture begins with two distinct volumes, utilizing techniques such as connecting, sliding, and creating openings to infuse dynamism. The foundational colors of Confucius Temple and the blood donation center were extracted to form the building's color palette. The building features two openings — a signature red entrance and a landscape window incorporating traditional elements from Confucius Temple.
It seems that every blood donation center in Nanjing follows a standardized template. The blood donation center I chose to redesign is located at the intersection of Jiankang Road and Sidafu Lane in the Confucius Temple area. The site is relatively small and close to the popular tourist attraction, with considerable foot traffic.
Throughout the design process, my primary goal was to maximize the use of limited space and create a memorable visual impact. One challenge is that I'm unsure if my design adequately addresses actual medical needs, given the short project timeline and the complexity of healthcare facilities.
